Start here if this is your first auction. You can read everything without signing in, and each answer is written in plain English.
Step 1
Choose Register, enter your details, and verify your account when asked. You can browse without an account, but you need one to register for an auction, bid, or save cars.
Step 2
Open Auctions to see sales that are open now or coming soon. Timed auctions close lot by lot; live auctions are run by an auctioneer in real time.
Step 3
Approval is handled separately for each auction. Complete the registration form and any card or refundable deposit-hold step shown on screen, then wait for approval.
Step 4
Read the description, condition notes, seller disclosure, photos, comments, reserve status, fees, and auction terms. Ask questions before you bid.
Step 5
Place the next bid or enter your maximum. A maximum is private: the platform raises your bid only when necessary, one increment at a time, up to your limit.
Step 6
Keep the lot on your watchlist and check Your Dashboard for active bids and outbid notices. The server clock and price shown by the platform are the official ones.
Step 7
If you win, review the instructions and buyer-premium amount in Your Dashboard. The buyer and seller complete payment for the vehicle, title, pickup, and transport directly unless the auction terms say otherwise.
Before placing money at risk, also read the complete bidding and fee explanation and the terms attached to the auction you are entering.
Lots run for several days and each one ends on its own clock. Bid when it suits you, or set a maximum and let the system hold your place.

No. Auctions, lot pages, photographs, current prices, results, and this help center are public. Sign in is required only for personal actions such as watching a lot, registering, bidding, and viewing your dashboard.
Approval is tied to a particular sale because dates, terms, deposit requirements, and bidder review can differ. Being approved for one sale does not automatically approve you for every future sale.
Your registration was received but has not yet been approved. You may browse and watch lots while it is reviewed, but you cannot bid in that auction until the status changes to approved.
A refundable authorization hold helps confirm that a bidder is genuine. It is not the purchase price. The exact amount and release rules are shown in the auction terms before you confirm registration. If the payment step is unavailable, registration cannot be completed online yet; follow the message shown on the auction page.
Use Auctions to see every sale and the cars in it, and Results for completed sales. On a phone, open Browse in the top navigation to see these links.
Review every photo, the description, condition notes, seller disclosure, comments, reserve indicator, buyer premium, end time, and auction-specific terms. Collector cars are used property; do not assume something is included or working unless the listing says so.
It saves the lot to Your Dashboard. From there you can return to it quickly and, where available, choose alerts for new bids or an approaching close. Watching is not bidding and creates no obligation.
The current bid has not reached the seller’s confidential minimum. The reserve amount is not shown. If bidding ends below it, the lot passes rather than selling.
A regular bid offers the next allowed amount. A maximum tells the platform the most you authorize it to bid for you. Your maximum stays private, and the platform uses only enough of it to keep you ahead, subject to the increment rules.
Yes. The earlier accepted maximum has priority when limits are equal. The bid history and “you are winning” message are more reliable than trying to infer the result from the displayed price alone.
The bid history lists every bid accepted on a car, newest first, with the amount and the time. A bid marked “automatically” was placed for someone by their private maximum. If staff ever take a bid back, it stays in the list marked “Retracted”, so the record is always complete. Nobody’s maximum is ever shown.
A bid near the end extends that lot’s closing time. This can happen repeatedly while bidding continues. It prevents last-second sniping and gives every bidder time to respond. Always follow the live countdown on the lot page.
Treat every confirmed bid as binding. Do not place a bid to test the button. If you made a genuine mistake, tell staff immediately: post in the comment thread on that lot so the message is attached to the right car and timestamped, and use the contact page as well. Speed is the only thing that helps, and a request is not a guarantee that a bid will be retracted.
Stop bidding until you understand the status. Check the connection message, refresh the page once, and reopen the lot from Auctions or Your Dashboard. The platform’s server record decides whether a bid was accepted, not a frozen screen, an email, a text, or your device clock.
Yes. The live room is public when a simulcast is available. Registration and approval are required before the bid controls become available.
The running order shows the cars expected to cross the block. The current lot is the one the auctioneer is selling now. The order can change, so keep the live room open rather than relying on an earlier list.
Internet video can arrive later than bidding data. Follow the current-lot status, accepted-bid message, and platform price. Do not wait for the auctioneer’s voice in the video before acting.
Active bids show cars where you are participating, Watchlist contains saved cars, Won lots shows successful purchases, and Registrations and deposits shows your status for each sale. Notification preferences control the alerts the platform currently supports.
Look for the status beside the lot in Active bids or on the lot page. An outbid alert is a prompt to check the current lot; it is not a substitute for the status shown by the platform.
Open Notifications on Your Dashboard to choose how alerts reach you, by email or by text. Which cars you hear about is set on each car in your watchlist. Alerts about your bids stay on even if you unsubscribe from other mail, and a text is only sent once your mobile number is verified and you have agreed to texts.
An empty dashboard usually means you have not watched a lot, registered, or bid yet. Start in Auctions. If you already took one of those actions, confirm you signed in with the same account and refresh the page.
Yes. Choose “Show getting-started guide” near the top of Your Dashboard. The guide is stored on each browser, so it may appear again when you use a new phone or computer.
It is the winning bid for the vehicle before the buyer premium and any separate taxes, registration, transport, or transaction costs described in the terms.
Unless the auction terms explicitly say otherwise, Reggie’s Garage invoices the buyer premium and introduces buyer and seller. The buyer and seller handle the vehicle purchase price, title transfer, pickup, transport, and related arrangements directly.
Nothing is owed. A losing bid does not buy anything. Any deposit hold for that sale is released under the auction terms, and your bank may keep showing it as pending for a few days. The car moves to Lots you did not get on Your Dashboard, with what happened to it.
It is recorded as passed, not sold. A later private discussion may occur, but the published auction result remains a pass unless a genuine auction sale took place under the stated rules.
Open Consign, read what the team looks for, and submit the requested ownership, history, condition, and contact information. A submission is a request for review, not an automatic listing.
Have the VIN, title status, ownership history, mileage, service records, modifications, known faults, lien information, and clear photographs ready. Complete and candid information leads to a stronger listing and fewer buyer disputes.
No. Consignors may not bid on their own lots. The platform checks this rule, and staff activity is recorded for accountability.
Confirm you are using the same email and sign-in method used to create the account. Complete any verification step in the sign-in window. If the page says accounts are unavailable on this deployment, bidding is intentionally disabled there.
Alerts are a convenience, not the official auction record. Check Your Dashboard, verify notification preferences, and make sure your email or phone details are current. Spam filtering, carrier delays, and device settings can delay delivery.
Use a unique password or secure sign-in provider, enable multi-factor authentication when offered, and never share a verification code. Reggie’s Garage staff should never ask for your password. Confirm payment instructions through an official channel before sending money.
Yes. The website is designed for phones, tablets, and computers. Keep the screen awake during active bidding, use a stable connection, and avoid switching networks at the moment you confirm a bid.
This help center is the current, complete set of public instructions, and it is updated with the platform rather than published separately, so nothing here can go quietly out of date.

How do comments on a car work?+
Every car has its own public discussion. Anyone can read it, and anyone signed in can ask the seller a question. Bidders approved for that sale can also post a condition claim, which is shown with their name to every bidder. Read the questions already there before asking a new one. Staff may remove a comment that breaks the rules, such as spam or someone’s private details.
